CHILD HEALTH NURSING
- Responsibility for comprehensive nursing care for the child and his/her family regarding the health and illness of infants, children and adolescents.
- Perform comprehensive and focused physical examinations of infants, children and adolescents as per curriculum. Conduct school health program, Assess the school and children and health action based on needs assessing the priorities
- Determinants of the common health problems of infants, children and adolescents including their nursing diagnosis and management
- Illness in growth and development of adolescents have clinical problems and appreciate the impact of illness on that growth and development
- Demonstrate the professional behaviours appropriate for clinical and community posting.
- The department also runs regular continuous nursing education (CNE) and workshops ground round regularly. Conduct research activities related to the field.
- Conduct seminars and journal clubs held as per curriculum are held for bachelor and master's students.
