Nutrition and Dietetics
The Nutrition and Dietetics Department at our hospital is dedicated to promoting health and well-being through personalized nutrition counseling and rehabilitation services.
In our OPD services, we offer individualized counseling sessions tailored to the specific needs of each patient, addressing various health concerns such as diabetes, obesity, HTN and more. Through evidence-based guidance and support, we empower patients to make informed dietary choices that optimize their health outcomes and improve their quality of life.
For inpatients, we extend its services to provide nutritional support and intervention as part of their overall treatment plan.
Moreover, our Nutrition Rehabilitation Center specializes in treating malnourished children, offering specialized care and support to help them achieve optimal growth and development. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we collaborate with health posts, over-the-counter (OTC) centers, and other healthcare providers to ensure that every child receives the attention and care they need for their nutritional rehabilitation.
Additionally, our department conducts nutritional assessments for children in the OPD setting, aiding in early diagnosis and intervention for nutritional issues. By identifying nutritional deficiencies and implementing appropriate interventions, we strive to promote healthy growth and development in children from an early age.
In essence, the Nutrition and Dietetics Department is committed to improving the nutritional status and overall well-being of our patients, encompassing both preventive and rehabilitative measures to address a wide spectrum of health concerns. Through our dedication to evidence-based practice and compassionate care, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities we serve.
