The department of Community Health Nursing:  As an integral component of Community Health Nursing, students post four to five weeks each year in different areas in the community. During the posting period, students need to do different activities, e.g. Community survey and diagnosis, home visit, case study and presentation of high risk cases, health education and nursing intervention according to needs of the people. Especially focus on maternal and child health and Family planning are also held. School health programme and institutional visits are also regularly held as per the curriculum.
